For 15 years Simmers Contracts Ltd have been the contractor of choice for McIntosh Plant Hire to carry out a number of large scale projects.

The most recent project at Birchmoss, Echt, included a 4 storey office development with a floor area of 2800m². This development accumulated 320 tonne of fabricated steel and 2500m² of external cladding.

Working closely with the contract architect and engineer we able to produce detailed electronic drawings enabling the delivery of the materials detailed below fully in advance of delivery to site:

• All steelwork components
• Cladding flashing

This ensured that our programme of works ran smoothly and co-ordinated efficiently and effectively with the other trades working on the Project.

Internally, we supplied and fitted:

• The metal decking, including the on-site stud welding
• The metalwork components of the feature staircases.
